Frequently Asked Questions
Does the face recognition or fingerprint really scan my child?
No. This is a pretend-play toy: the “face recognition” graphic on the screen is a short animation, and the fingerprint-style pad is a touch button. There is no real camera or fingerprint scanner, no data is collected, and nothing connects to a bank or the internet. The number shown on the screen is a playful display, not a tracked balance. The door actually opens with the keypad PIN (and play card), which a parent can reset.
Does it keep my child's money secure, and what if the PIN is forgotten?
It keeps savings tidy and adds a fun “locked” ritual, but it is a plastic toy, not an anti-theft safe, and the code can be reset rather than cracked. If the PIN is forgotten, a grown-up can follow the included reset steps to set a new one and open the door. For valuable or important items, please use a real safe instead.
What size batteries does it need, and are they included?
It runs on 3 × 1.5V AA batteries, which are not included — please have them ready for first use. An adult should install or replace the batteries and ensure the compartment is closed securely. Remove the batteries during long periods without use, and do not mix old and new or different types of batteries.
What money fits, and will the auto feeder take any bill?
The top slot mechanically rolls in standard flat paper bills when they are placed in straight and clean, and coins go through the separate coin slot. Very crumpled, wet or oddly sized notes may not feed smoothly and can be placed inside once the door is open. The toy does not read or recognize currency or count a real balance — it simply stores the money inside.
Is it safe for a 3-year-old, and how loud is it?
It is recommended for ages 3 and up, with adult setup and supervision. It is an electronic toy with small parts and uses batteries, so keep younger siblings away during battery changes and don't let children put coins or the play card in their mouth. It plays beeps and music at a normal toy volume; a parent can switch modes or remove the batteries for quiet time. Keep it dry and wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth rather than immersing it.
