Does it arrive already filled with water?
No. It ships empty for safe transport, and a filling funnel plus stopper plugs are included. Add water once to the indicated level and press the stopper in firmly. It is designed to be filled a single time and reheated all season — do not empty and refill it, and never heat it without water.
How do I heat it, and can I leave it plugged in?
Lay it flat on a table, make sure the port and your hands are dry, open the cap, attach the clip-cord, and the red light shows heating. When it is ready the light turns off automatically. Unplug immediately, close the cap, and use it cordless. Do not use it while charging, cover it while heating, charge it overnight, or leave it unattended.
Is it safe, and could it overheat or burn me?
It has a pressure-sensitive cut-off (power stops if it over-expands) and auto shut-off when fully heated. Still, always follow the steps, keep it on the plush cover, and never sleep on it or apply it to one spot for a long time. Children, older adults, pregnant women, and anyone with reduced skin sensation should use it with care to avoid low-temperature burns; stop using it if it bulges, leaks or is damaged.
Can I take the cover off and wash it?
The sealed reservoir is not meant to be opened. When the pack is cool and unplugged, wipe the plush with a slightly damp cloth and let it air dry. Do not immerse it in water, machine wash, tumble dry, bleach, or get the charge port wet.
Will it work with my wall outlet?
It comes with a US-style plug adapter. Before first use, check the rated voltage on the unit's label and make sure it matches your local household supply; plug it only into a standard dry indoor wall outlet. Do not use it with a mismatched voltage or a damaged cord or adapter.
